World of Ancients has fully scripted Bosses and Encounters, so a full dungeon raid will be well worth your time as no encounter will be the same! Unless your a priest. This is the first part of the epic World of Ancients saga and takes place in the deserts of Zulanni.Ī group of heroes are sent out to eliminate the Trolls of Zul'Terrak and all of their leaders in order to prevent them from bringing havoc to the world. So unless your being put in a MT group with alot of MT healers in treeform, spirit still kinda sucks compared to +heal / + mp5.
Other then that the improved divine spirit grants this chestpiece 2.3 healing (10%) and after the patch 3.0 healing. And that is 100 x 6 = 600 healing for the raid, almost just as good. But then again, if you go for mp5 / +heal items you still reach like 400 spirit buffed (since you can't really escape spirit gear and go for pure mp5 / +heal as a druid, unless you go full arena / pvp gear) if you go for mp5 / +heal gear. With 6 healers on the MT that sums up in 750 total bonus healing for the raid. Let's say the tree got 500 spirit buffed by going for spirit items.ĥ00 x 25 = 125 heal bonus for each healer healing the MT. But with only 15 % passive regen bonus from the talent. Before it was pretty good with the passive 15 % regen bonus from stormrage. So I gotta go for +heal and mp5 and chain drink pots on bossfights. And I heal in SSC as a tree of life druid, and believe me, I never get the chance to let the ooc regen tick. The only use of spirit for a spamming tree of life druid is putting the tree of life druid with loads of spirit in the group with the MT, on a bossfight where most heals are concentrated on the MT. However, after the patch this chest has the following stats: Therefore, any Druid that inderstands how Spirit works considers this to be an atrocious chestpiece. (The 23 Spirit and 6 mp 5 cancel each other out as aforementioned.) And, as Gathan stated, the Kodohide Tunic maintains the following stat bonuses over this chest when socketed properly: Therefore, since this item has 23 Spirit on it, the average Druid (70% I.F.S.R.) will regenrate 6 mana per 5 seconds. If you spend 90% of the time inside of the five second rule 1 mana per 5 seconds is equal to approximately 7 Spirit. This value decreases exponentially the more time the Druid spends inside of the five second rule. Outside of the five second rule, the maximum bonus from Spirit that a Druid can receive is approximately 1 mana per five seconds per 1.8 Spirit as per this formula:Ģ(mp5)/5 = (spirit/4)(1 - % time spent in FSR) + (spirit/4 * % regen during casting)*(% time spent in FSR)Īssuming that the average Druid has Intensity (15% of your mana regenerated while casting) and spends approximately 70% inside of the five second rule due to Lifebloom casting and the liberal use of HoTs - that Druid will regenerate 1 mana per five seconds for every 4 Spirit.
If you are outside of the five second rule (if you have not casted in five seconds) you gain the maximum bonus from Spirit. Comment by FudgemsGathan is absolutely correct and Carch and Kaitain have obviously overlooked what Gathan stated.
